Hi,

I recently bought a N100DC board, but i cannot find an option to power off the USB-Ports when the computer is shut down ??USB-HDDs are still running.

When the computer is in sleep mode, the HDDs are powered off (Deep Sleep) ??that works.

Thanks in advance and greetings from Austria
Andy

Hi SatchmoX,

Thank you for your post.

Please try to switch the option "deepsleep" to "Enabled in S4-S5".
BIOS option is under BIOS\Advanced\Chipset Confiuration.
This should turn off the power of the USB.

All the best

Hi,

Thanks for your answer! I already set the Deep Sleep Option to S4-S5 and i have tried S5 only. This powered off USB, when the computer is in sleep mode, but NOT when it is shutdown.

Greetings
Andy

Hi Asrock,

The problem was caused by a bug in an older version of the bios. Mine came with an older version from march. With the bios 1.06 the USB-Ports are powered off, when the computer was shutdown. Now everything seems to work correct.

Greetings,
Andy
