Hi I have the B650D4U-2L2T/BCM board. I see new BIOS and BMC firmware were released yesterday: https://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=B650D4U#Download" rel="nofollow - https://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=B650D4U#Download I was able to download to the latest ver 3.11 of the BIOS released on 1/10/2024. But upgrading to the latest BMC firmware ver 03.10.00 released on 1/10/2024, I keep getting errors that the file downloaded did not pass validation. I downloaded the file from the Global region. Can someone please help me find a solution? Best Regards SMK |

I'm not 100% sure, but maybe you can't upgrade multiple major versions. If you can it might be worth to try updating to 02.08.00 first. I'm assuming you are on 01.10.00? Hey SMK, You sound like you're having a hard time with the BMC firmware update. These are some things you could try: Check the Download: Make sure the file was downloaded correctly and in its entirety. Sometimes, re-downloading can fix the problem with confirmation. Check the Area: Make sure you're using the right firmware version for your board type and area. Regional differences can sometimes make things not work well together. File Type: Make sure that the firmware file type you got is correct. It should meet the standards that ASRock Rack gives. Talk to Support: If the problem doesn't go away, you might want to contact ASRock Rack's help team. They might be able to give you more information or a different update link.
