My specs: Motherboard: Asrock Fatality Gaming K4 CPU: I5-6600k (Cryorig H5 Ultimate) RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance DDR4 3000 2x8GB GPU: MSi-AMD R9 390x 8GB VRam SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB HHD: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750W Fully Modular Case: NZXT S340 Monitor: ACER XG270HU 27" 2560x1440 I have all fans connect to motherboard. I was in the middle of gaming 2-3 nights ago, then my monitor suddenly went black and show "no signal"(it happened 1 or 2 times before but the computer went fine after restart until this time) I have all my 4 fans and cpu fan connected to the motherboard, when press the button on the case, everything light up(all 4 fans and CPU's fan spin furiously like normally), my GPU have its led on, the fan is still spinnning. Except there is this solid redlight on my mobo that last as long as I have my PSU turn on and the monitor show "no signal", I also have to hold down the case's power button for a few seconds for it to turn off. I could not get to BIOS or anything at all. I tried to interchange the ram, put it in different slots, I tried to disconnect the PSU and reconnect it, turn it off, turn it on, etc. But it still would not work. I also tried to unplug and replug other cable from my PSU. I switched from Displayport on my GPU-Displayport on Monitor(which is my original configuration), to HDMI from my mobo iso shield to hdmi on the same monitor, then I tried to used a different monitor that I borrow from a friend. But it's not working Still "no signal", I then tried to used that monitor to test on my friend's PC, and the monitor works normally >That would place the problem inside my PC, not monitor/cables Yesterday, I did a few more diagnosis steps, and bought internal speaker for the motherboard. It's an AMI BIOS(P1.90), the thing made 3 short beep noise. After checking out the beep codes, it means base 64k RAM failure. So I went to a store nearby to bought 2 whole new stick of rams(DDR4, compatible with the motherboard). Placed it different slots(and also tried 1 at a time as well) and the problem still exist, my PC would not boot, all fan and lights are spinning, the speaker make 3 beeps and repeat, 3 beeps. I did test the power supply unit, it's all good. I also removed the CMOS battery, left it out overnight. Jumped the CMOS as well Not sure if this worth mentioned, I built this new PC only for about 2 months, everything ran fine up until now. So is the motherboard causing this problem? or is it something else? If it's the motherboard, How can I return it for warranty? I have tried to look around in the main website and I'm not sure where to send the request.

You have already done most of what I usually advise in your situation so great job on that. The next thing to try is take out the CPU and look for any warping. Your cooler does not seem to be listed as one of the few that can cause this but it may still be possible if the case was knocked about it bit. It worked for 2 months and then died so it is either a fault with the board or the CPU (as you have ruled out RAM, PSU and other components). -------------

I did opened and checked it out, all the pins seems perfectly straight, as well as cpu. I also did the finger test thing, I put my finger on the cpu without heatsink or cooler. Then I power up the pc, I felt the cpu warming up and I immediately turn the computer off right the way. |

The last thing I would try before pulling the system apart is to remove the GPU and all the RAM and power on the system and check to see if the beep code is the same as you were getting. If it isn't then you can replace 1 stick of RAM and try to post from the iGPU without the GPU connected. -------------

I'm still receiving 3 beeps code without ram and GPU while inside the case, I'll try to do the breadboard tomorrow |

Outside of the case, only CPU + CPU's fan, and 1 stick of ram plugged in, switched to a different ram to a different slot as well, still 3 beeps, then repeat 3 beeps. How can I be sure whether it is the motherboard's fault or CPU?(CPU fan spinning when power on) |
