Newb , bought a used MB with damaged PCIe5 x16 slot because AsRock website says it had 2 PCIe4x 16 slots that I thought I could use instead for a gpu.
Looking at PCIe4x16 slots they only have 1/3 and 1/4 of the pins installed in slot , not the whole slot. Wouldnt that make them PCIe4x4 & PCIe4x1 slots instead ? Dont know if i can add pics
