Looking at buying a B550M Steel Legend to replace the stock MB in an Acer Nitro 50. CPU is a Ryzen 7 5700G. I have two questions:
The support section says that the BIOS is updated via Instant Flash. Through further research. It seems this is incorrect, as there is no flash button or reference to a Flash port in the UM; and no additional instructions anywhere else.
Question 1. How do you update the BIOS in this MB?
Question 2. Which version should I use with the R7 5700G (Cezanne)?
Probably a stupid question as the supported CPU list states version P1.90. I ask for two reasons: There's a later update (2.20) that adds Win11 support, and secondly, This site is already incorrect about Instant Flash for this board, so maybe the stated BIOS version may be out of date?

"Instant Flash" is just in-BIOS flash function. In other words, no need for an operation system. Most AM4 boards did NOT have the ability to flash BIOS without supported CPU. That function has different names, depending on vendor.
As for BIOS, just use the latest, because... greatest. The BIOS/Supported CPU page is just telling you the first BIOS version that supported that CPU.
