Hi to all!
I'm having a big issue with this model of Motherboard that doesn't power on when the power is turned back. For example, if there is a power outage and the BIOS is set correctly on POWER ON (Restore on AC/Power Loss) it must turn back on by its own.
I have a batch of 90 Motherboards of the same model and all have this issue.
I've tried to update the BIOS from 14.03 to 16.02 and finally 17.01 but the issue is always the same.
I've tried to CLR_CMOS, to change CPU, RAM and Power supply but it did not solve the issue.

Another strange behavior of this mobo is the following:
Power Off the MB with the power button.
Unplug power of power supply
Plug again power supply and now the motherboard will turn back, this is the only way that turns on automatically.

I Guess is a BIOS bug because is impossible that Asrock did not find this issue during production.
With different motherboards, I did not encounter this issue (Asrock, Gigabyte, Asus).

I've already tried to fill a ticket to Customer Care but I did not receive feedback in 1 week.

My test is done with:
Asrock B660M-HDV BIOS 17.01 https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/B660M-HDV" rel="nofollow - https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/B660M-HDV
Intel CPU i3-12100/i5-12400
RAM 8GB Silicon Power DDR4 3200Mhz
NVME Silicon Power 64Gb/SSD 2.5" A55 SP
Power Supply Seasonic SUG300W Flex ATX
No Videocard

Did you receive a confirmation email for your support ticket? If not, send it again.
Also, bare in mind that the Lunar New Year and surrounding holidays have just concluded
in China so they will likely be a bit behind on support tickets etc right now.

If you still haven't received a reply by Monday post back here. I would open a
second ticket using a different board serial number additionally, that should
flag you in their system a bit more clearly.

They sent me a Custom BIOS that fixed the issue. However, thank you for the reply!

Hello,
we have 60 PCs with the same MB. Most of them are used in computer classrooms.
There is a similar issue - after shutting down a PC sometimes it won't power on normally (nothing happens when you press the button). The solution is to pull out the power cord for awhile then put it back and it will power on.
That's the only problem with them. Once turn on they work without any issues.
We have tried with different BIOS versions (up to 13.03, since then we gave up trying to fix it with BIOS upgrades). We even replaced half of the power supplies to see if there will be any difference. But nothing changed.
The processor is i5-12500 and RAM is 1 x Silicon Power 16GB DDR4 3200MHz.
Can I somehow get a custom BIOS or other solution for this problem?
