Hello,

I´ve got some problems with the Z170 Extreme 4.

CPU: i7-6700K
RAM: Kingston HyperX HX426C15FBK2/16
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB
M.2: Samsung 950 pro

Bios Version 2.80 and 2.90:
- OC with loaded XMP RAM profile and multiplicator x44 is fine. But if I try to set manual RAM configuration timings the cpu runs only at stock settings x40 - the BIOS still has correct CPU setting x44, but within the OS the CPU runs max. x40
- UEFI Ultrafast boot doesn´t work. OS is installed in UEFI mode. If I set ultrafast boot in BIOS the graphic bios is still showing up and the BIOS setting get automatically reverted to "fast boot" and the system startup time is around 40 seconds. Bootdevice is the Samsung 950 pro.

BIOS Version 3.20 and 3.40:
- no system boot with these 2 versions possible. Various symptoms: System powers up, but no screen - then system turns of, and can´t be turned back on. The led of the onboard power and reset button is sometimes lid, sometimes off. To get the system back the power cable of the PSU has to be plugged off.
- Maybe the system will boot up and show screen but will hang in bios boot (Code 99) - the system stays there some minutes and the turns of. Again only power cable remove will help.
- Tried to remove graphics card and use CPU graphics. Tried only 1 RAM or different RAM-Slot. Tried BIOS reset / CMOS clear. Tried flashing the version 3.20 and 3.40 multiple times. Nothing worked. The system only runs with BIOS 2.80 and 2.90.

Please advice...

Thanks!
