Hi,
I am currently having a build using Asrock B550M Steel legend and GPU Sapphire Pure rx 7800 xt.
Issue is that I dont have any display/POST.
1. Already tried reseating the CPU, GPU and 2. Bios already updated to latest one. 3. I already cross check with other components and GPU is working fine.
What is odd is my b550m steel legend works rtx cards not my rx7800 xt.
Please advice about my case please.

I have 3 7800xt GPU's. Two of them are Asrock and the other is Asus. None of them display the BIOS/POST on my B650E PG Riptide Wifi. They all display no hdmi signal until getting to Windows and then work fine. The iGPU is disabled. I think it's an Asrock issue. Not sure if they will ever fix it.

Hi,
So you mean we need to install windows first using a different gpu (like nvidia cards) so that our gpu(rx 7800xt) could work on an asrock motherboard?
Please confirm as I am planning to have this mobo RMA this week.

I did have an older Nvidia card (which worked fine) in the machine originally with windows on it which is how I discovered the 7800xt was fine in windows despite no signal during post. Since then, however, I have set it up as a new machine with a new ssd and windows install.
The way I did it was to power on the PC pressing delete to enter the bios. Then, after 20 seconds or so pull the hdmi cable out and put it back in to get the display working. This allowed me to make whatever bios changes were needed and install windows. Just unplug and replug the hdmi every time you need to force the display to work. Once windows is up and running everything works fine but you need to do the stupid hdmi replug trick any time you want to go into the bios to make changes or update it.
I hope this helps and I hope Asrock reads this too.
