By Intel's specification, and control of their processors and chipsets, only mother boards with a 'Z' chipset, like the Z97, allow over clocking of the CPU. Also, you must have an Intel 'K' model CPU in order to over clock.

What CPU do you have?

A while ago, ASRock released their Non-Z OC feature for certain boards, like yours. Intel later forced ASRock to remove that feature with a BIOS update that removed that feature permanently. Intel also had Microsoft create a Windows update that would make the same change as the BIOS update to remove the Non-Z OC feature, if owners did not apply the BIOS version that removed that feature.

If you have BIOS version 1.50 or newer, the Non-Z OC feature was removed, starting with the 1.50 BIOS. What BIOS version do you have in your board.

In the BIOS, in the OC Tweaker screen, do you see an option called Non-Z OC?
