By Intel's specification, and control of their processors and chipsets, only mother boards with a 'Z' chipset, like the Z97, allow over clocking of the CPU. Also, you must have an Intel 'K' model CPU in order to over clock. What CPU do you have? A while ago, ASRock released their Non-Z OC feature for certain boards, like yours. Intel later forced ASRock to remove that feature with a BIOS update that removed that feature permanently. Intel also had Microsoft create a Windows update that would make the same change as the BIOS update to remove the Non-Z OC feature, if owners did not apply the BIOS version that removed that feature. If you have BIOS version 1.50 or newer, the Non-Z OC feature was removed, starting with the 1.50 BIOS. What BIOS version do you have in your board.
