Subject: ASROCK X670E RS PRO BIOS 2.08 RAM TIMINGS WRONG

Hi, an hour ago, I did an BIOS update on my X670E RS PRO (AMD 7800X3D). Now, the RAM timings of my two KF560C36-16 Kingston Fury are way too high. Since I bought all last X-mas, I run them on BIOS 2.02 with 5600 and BIOS found them (according to SPD) as: 36-38-38-80. After the BIOS update, loaded defaults, disabled "Memory Context Restore", now: 46-45-45-90 Is there any setting that has to be changed (except of setting manual timings) ?

Found the solution by myself: After loading the defaults: - OC Tweaker -> DRAM Profile Configuration -> DRAM Profile Setting : selected "EXPO 5600 ..." - now in OC Tweaker main menu "DRAM Frequency" was set to 5600 automatically - "Memory Context Restore" set to Disabled for the next reboot Checked in Advanced -> AMD CBS -> UMC -> DDR Options -> DDR Memory Features : was on Disabled too Save & Exit, Reboot to Win, checked with CPU-Z : Memory Timings 36-38-38-... ok Rebooted to BIOS - Reset OC Tweaker -> "Memory Context Restore" to Enabled Checked in Advanced -> AMD CBS -> UMC -> DDR Options -> DDR Memory Features : was reset to Enabled too
So some fields in BIOS are dependend on another field.
The "DRAM Frequency" field doesn't select an EXPO profile and as I simply set this field to 5600, BIOS calculates the timings from the base profile of the DRAM.
Only after I selected the EXPO profile in "DRAM Profile Setting", the "DRAM Frequency" was set to 5600 too - and BIOS took the faster timings from the EXPO profile.
The same for "Memory Context Restore": Setting it in "DDR Options" doesn't activate the DRAM training. Setting it in OC Tweaker menu sets the "DDR Options" field too and runs the DRAM training on the next reboot.
