Hey! Past month, ive had problems with my motherboard in ways ive can`t find out what is the problem.
I think it might be becouse of some driver issues after the Windows 10 anniversary update to my motherboard.
First ive noticed bluescreens after the update. Was not there before.
System is slow and slugish. Windows does not react as it whould, its like everything takes time to open in a 2-5 second delay.
Ive been working as hardware tech guy for over 15 years now, trouble shooting computers. So what ive done, i checked all things, that you normaly do, stresstesting, checking ram, cpu, gpu, psu and all that in ways i know. I can`t find any HW issues. Windows bluescreen`s on Whea_uncorrectabe_error.
After doing an clean install from windows media creation tool, with intregrated 1607 anniverary build, Whea_uncorrectabe_error is gone.
This happen only after the windows update.
So i tried clean install before update. and that works well, and no bluescreens or slow system. Windows fails totaly without drivers, hang/ crashes. it gets abit better with drivers, but its not all ok. still slow
All drivers are up to date from the App Shop.
So, i tried i different ssd with clean install. Still the same problem. Changed gpu, psu and my old cpu. Problem still there. So ive tested with my old Dominator ram from the other computer. No change there either.
So, i updated Bios from 2.40 to 2.50. Every now and then, the screen dosent turn on when i start the computer on 2.50 bios sometimes. So i did flash it back to 2.40. works ok again.
this system runs a 850psu corsair, 4790k cpu, 16gb ram from corsair, gtx 1080 (Gpu). S. Evo 850 ssd.
my second pc, 1366 socket asus motherboard with an 6 core, works well on this windows update.
From all the things ive tried now, it seems like a driver problem for the motherboard due that windows update.
Or any other suggestion?
I even tweaked the windows like i did on the other computer of mine. removing all the crap in windows u dont need, or slow down the system in the background. it gets better. but its not good.
Some of it, i can relate to windows problems, but also driver problems. So those two together prolly makes my computer have an hangoverish state.
Another problem, since i got this card, is that if i Razer naga mouse, sometimes, when i boot up, the computer dosen fint the mouse. The mouse is all dead. I have to plug it in and out to make it work again.
