I just picked up 2x Extreme7+ board with ì7-6700K, 3x NVMe in each as well as 64GB memory kits from Kingston (4x 16GB). If I plug in 2 sticks the machine works fine, but if I plug in all 4 it hangs during POST with error code 53.

Do I need to do anything special to use 64GB memory on this board?

Memory specs: http://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/HX421C14FBK4_64.pdf

When I get the 64GB to work, this board makes for an amazing FreeBSD workstation as FreeBSD 11 + NVMe in ZFS + 2x Intel gigabit nics is just plain awesome, can't wait to use them properly :)

Are you running your memory at 2133, or a higher speed?

Did you clear the UEFI/CMOS when you put all four DIMMs in the board?

In the UEFI, OC Tweaker, DRAM Configuration screen, way at the bottom look for the MRC Fast Boot option. Set it to disabled, which will cause memory training to occur, which helps with memory stability.

Have you tested every DIMM you have, meaning trying the two DIMMs you added for a total of four, but just by themselves?
