Hi, does anyone know if the sandisk ultra II ssd is supported by the Z170 extreme 3 mobo? I don't see it listed in the supported ssd list on Asrock's website, so just want to make sure. Thanks!

No need to worry, the Sandisk Ultra II is a standard SATA III SSD, and will work fine with your board.
The Storage Support lists that ASRock provides are really far from inclusive regarding all the drives that exist, and can be used with their boards. I have so many different SSDs that I use with ASRock boards that are not listed in any of their Storage Support lists. The vast majority of the drives that are in those lists, I have never owned.
You have nothing to worry about.
