I had an ASRock B365M PRO mobo with an Intel i5-9400 CPU.

CPUID HWMonitor always showed all the cores at 800 Mhz when the PC wasn?™t doing anything and up to 4100 MHZ under load.

I just swapped in a B760M Pro RS/D4 with an Intel i5-14500 CPU.

CPUID HWMonitor always shows all cores at the following typical speeds.
Value: 2609Mhz, Min: 2607Mhz, Max 2612Mhz. These numbers may change very slightly.

BIOS > Advanced Mode > Advanced shows Processor Max Speed: 2600Mhz and Min Speed: 400Mhz.

In EZ MODE it indicates Processor Speed: 4600Mhz.

I did quite a bit of searching & it appears a BIOS setting called SpeedStep controls this. But I can?™t find anything like that or similar in BIOS.

Where do I find SpeedStep or whatever is locking my CPU at 2600MHz?
Thanks

I should add that 2.6 GHz is the Performance-core Base Frequency.
