I've had a computer built which has a arctic liquid freezer 3 360. The computer shop has connected cpu1 to the radiator fans, cpu2 to the pump, and vrm to the vrm fan on the pump.

In the Bios he's left cpu2 set to fan mode rather than w_pump. Should I swap it to w_pump or doesn't it make any difference?

Switch to [w-pump], select the [monitor CPU] source temperature and you will be able to select the speed adjustment [customize] depending on the CPU temperature in the CPU FAN 2 settings...

Exactly what AmazighAS said. It never hurts to check their work, like you have done.

Hello,

I?™m experiencing a similar issue as the original poster.

When I select:
1) W_PUMP mode for CPU Fan 2 (the pump is connected to CPU Fan 2),
2) Auto Mode for CPU Fan 2 control mode, and
3) Monitor CPU as the temperature source,

I?™m unable to customize the speed curve for CPU Fan 2 based on the CPU temperature. I can modify the values virtually, but they don?™t actually apply when I press Enter.

The only way to change the fan curve is to switch back from W_PUMP mode to CPU Fan 2 mode, then adjust the curve using the FAN-Tastic Tuning tool. However, in that case, I?™m no longer using W_PUMP mode.

Is there any way to fix this?

I own an ASRock z690 PG ITX TB4 MB
