" rel="nofollow - I'm a bit late bloomer and just upgraded from core2quad to second hand i5-2400. It came on Asrock H67M mobo and I was thinking about upgrading the CPU to K-version in hopes to do some OCing, but is it true that H67 chipset has absolutely no overclocking capabilities even if there appear to be voltage and multiplier controls for the CPU in BIOS? They don't work or allow me to set higher multiplier even with unlocked K-model CPU?

" rel="nofollow - Never mind, apparently this mobo is indeed POS for overclocking purposes. But to another dilemma:

I have connected two 120mm case fans to PWR and CHA connectors on the mainboard and I had this great plan to set CPU-temperature limits for both so that PWR fan starts blowing air out sooner at max speed and CHA fan joins in later blowing cooler air in if temperatures keep rising. PWR fan has greater top RPM so even if they both run at top speed I should have negative pressure inside the case. Well, it appears that only one of the fans can be temperature controlled and other one is just idling at it's target speed. I tried to adjust settings via Xtreme tuner app but it seems that the fan of which settings I changed last before hitting APPLY follows temperature limit. If I manually set "target" max speed for both only then both fans run at top speed but I'm unable to get both of them follow temperature limit. Is this bug or limitation of the board, too big fans connected or something because surely seems odd to me?

Edit: After resetting cmos now I can't get CHA-fan run temperature controlled at all and only PWR-fan changes speed by temperature. Both fans have 3-pin connectors and so does mobo have 3-pin headers. Maybe this is some kind of bug in BIOS and it appears that this board has "beta" bios in it, can I safely downgrade bios to latest official one? Asrock page says that I should flash only newer versions so would flashing older bios brick the mobo?
