" rel="nofollow - Hi guys I've have had some problems with my ASRock board i think for some time, few days ago it started being annoying and I didn't know what to do, so I made a reinstall but it seems like Windows is installing everyone of my drivers, and i am a bit skeptical, I feel like they drivers from ASRocks' own webpage is better, but it's like it just deleting them again and installing their own? Anyone can help me out if the websites drivers are the best, or the ones Windows provides me? also should I format again and remove enthernet to make sure i get the Asrocks then? Also disable Windows 10 from installing the drivers? Sorry for my bad english, hope you guys can help me here.

If you're in a position that reformatting and a fresh OS install won't turn your life upside down(read:backups) by all means do a fresh install.
While unplugged from the internet, do your OS install, then immediately afterwards go in and follow the links settings.
You might, since you're concerned with getting the latest drivers, visit beforehand the device manufacturers whom have devices on this MB and d/l the absolute newest drivers to have ready after you stop WU, and the OS is finished installing

Yes, but i don't know if this is the right one.
I took the one called Intel(R) 7 Series/C220 Series SMBus Controller 8C22 the version is 10.1.1.38 I think it's the chipset, but then i look at ASrocks chipset version and its ver:10.1.1.8 Isn't Windows newer or am i wrong here?

hehehe
Many get confused by this.
Windows, Microsoft, uses a versioning system that is scaled by WHQL versions. That is not to say that one is newer than the other. Only that Windows, MS, does not necessarily run neck and neck, side by side, comparable revisions that get released through WU vs the manufacturers versions.
You're balking a reinstall, huh?
Honestly. that's what I'd be doing at this point if I were you. Between you installing drivers to overwrite the MS installed ones and then MS going behind your back and installing its drivers, now is a perfect time to start fresh.
If you'd like I can direct you to the MB's device manufacturers pages to get the latest and greatest drivers to install. The ones on the ASRock pages are dated/old.

If you configure Windows 10 with the information wardog gave you, Windows 10 will no longer update your drivers.
That option can be set during the Windows installation, but if you use the Express Win 10 settings, then you get the automatic driver update. Personally, I turn off the Windows driver updates.
Your board has an Intel 8 series chipset in it, the Z87. If you used an Intel 7 series chipset driver or software, that is just wrong, I'm surprised it installed.
Frankly, the difference between the version of the drivers and software is minimal or none most of the time. New does not automatically mean better, every hardware manufacture including Intel has released bad versions of their software that they later removed from availability. All of that software was "new" at one time. I can think of several versions of the Intel IRST software that had bad bugs in it, and are gone forever now.

" rel="nofollow - Okay, i just have to ask last question I don't mind formatting, but should i do it and not let Windows install any drivers. by that i will format without internet, turn off the driver thing, turn on internet and then find drivers. Does that work or? Edit: Uhm Wardog sure, you can post it for me :) I just need to be sure they are compatabile with the ones I have :p

Meaning you have an nVidia graphics card in one of the PCIe slots.
Those linked above will net you the latest drivers there are.
Post if you run into problems.

" rel="nofollow - Okay I tried using the Intel you linked, i didn't find anything. Before i connected my internet, i remebered to disable the drivers, from your first post here, downloaded my Nvidia driver, but it was like it still installed it, so i installed every driver used DDU installed the new Nvidia driver, everything seemed fine, but I can't have 8 chrome tabs opened and a Twitch.tv stream without my Dota 2 FPS will drop from under 100, and i can watch pro players maybe with worse setup than mine have better FPS are my CPU broken perhaps?

Most likely because you haven't installed the INF and maybe ME drivers.

Again, go the above link, download install and run the Intel Driver Update Utility. That will detect your chipset(Z87) and install the latest Intel drivers that your system requires.

Wardog, I have installed the drivers in order Audio - Restart Inf - Restart Me + Lan It wouldn't install smart connect, because it said it was disabled in BIOS. I even used Display Driver Uinstaller to remove the driver and install 375.70 i mean the driver is. But yet it can still drop my FPS while having chrometabs with streams opened, it's even dropping under 100 after specefic time.

" rel="nofollow - Update: I can play Dota 2 for 5 minutes, then my FPS start decreasing from 105 - under 90 when i use B (Hotkey for my shop) then it will drop down when i close the shop it will go slowly back to 105 and stay there until i come in a big teamfight, when at lot is happening on my screen, it can even drop to a 67 FPS. if i cap my FPS at 200 it will still likely to run down to under 100 if i open shop again.. I am thinking can my CPU, GPU do this? i don't lag in Dead by daylight nor i drop down in FPS there. Don't think Dead by Daylight runs on Source2 engine as well.

Xaltar, not being fluent in Intel, looking at the above quote, upped from 2.10 to 2.40 - 2.20 and 2.40 BOTH included an ME code update.
You think maybe it's just a matter of updating his ME "drivers' ??

Thank you, from this it is very clear you have a problem Without this info all I could see were the perfectly playable frame rates you were mentioning
Playable as they may be they are far from what this system should be producing. I have some further questions that should help pin down the issue.
1. Is your RAM 2x 8gb or 4x 4gb? 2. What are your system temps like? (there are numerous temp monitoring apps out there) 3. While you are running a game (and it is giving you lower than expected FPS) run CPUz and let us know what the "Core Speed" value is. 4. Have you tried clearing CMOS on your system? If not do so. 5. Have you installed the latest "Intel Management Engine" drivers?
Another useful thing you can try is download GPUz and run it before you open a game, leave it running throughout your gaming session. Once you have observed the FPS issue you are talking about, quit the game and look at the sensor tab in GPUz. It should have logged a lot of info about what your GPU was doing during your play session. Click on the down arrow next to "GPU Core Clock" and select "show highest reading". The number shown should be the maximum boost speed listed on your GPU's specifications. If it is significantly lower (300mhz or more) then the issue is GPU/driver related. If it shows the correct value then we need to look at the rest of your system.

1. 2X8gb 2. My CPU doesn't hit that high temps 50 in Dead by Daylight on ULTRA <- Used to run it on low 3. I only feel the drops in Dota 2 not Dead by Daylight 4. No I am not that good with tech 5. I downloaded the one from from ASRocks webpage under my board. I think it might be source2 problem?

I would like to point out! I haven't ever touched anything in BIOS other than the time i updated it. else I've never touched it. Would also point i am a bit afraid to take out the battery, think my GPU is in the way, last time i did something like that my entire GPU didn't work :/

If the issue is present only in a single title then I would suggest you post your issue on the game's official forums. In all likelihood the issue is caused by the game, it's engine or driver issues related to it's engine.
I would not recommend anyone tamper inside their PC if they are uncomfortable with the idea or lack the experience to do so Given the issue seems to be localized to a single title it is a moot point anyway.
Good luck and do let us know if you find a solution.

" rel="nofollow - Is it not the case that a consistent FPS rate is impossible to maintain, since the underlying code of a game in different situations may simply cause changes in it?
Then do something different as the OP mentioned, which starts something else running which needs resources, and of course the FPS rate changes when resources are used elsewhere?
