" rel="nofollow - Hey guys, I upgraded my current rig and purchased the G.SKILL TridentX Series 16GB  DDR3 2400 memory to hold me over before Zen or Kaby Lake comes out but ever since I installed it on my Z77 Extreme4, I've been having booting problems. Whenever I turn on or wake up my computer, it would momentarily shut off (or go back to sleep) and turn back on automatically. Before it shuts off, Dr. Debug shows code 20. Looking at the Z77 Extreme4 user manual, there is no code 0x20 shown.

I cleared the CMOS numerous times, upped the voltage, moved the sticks to the other dual channel slots, and it still happens. There are also no Memtest86+ errors found when I testing it. Memory is running DDR3 2400 @ 1.65v 10-12-12-31 2T. Any advice on what I should do next?

" rel="nofollow - Hey Laguna, when you say you upped your voltage, how high did you go? I read about this same problem before and I had to set the dram voltage to 1.655 since it wouldn't boot up at 1.65, the post said sometimes the motherboards think 1.65v is 1.60v or something to that effect.   GL
