" rel="nofollow - Hello
(excuse me for the double post i think posted in the wrong forum earlier)
I'd like to ask to about the compatibility of my old h61m-vs board with  a new gpu like say, a gtx 1060
The reason why i'm asking this is because i've seen some topics on the internet about people unable to run some new gpus with  h61 cards, and i don't know if that problem will happen to me as well.
The card is supposed to have UEFI.

As a matter of fact, i've seen some builds running a gtx 1060 with an h61m-vs3. notice that "3" though, ive been googling and can't seem to find a clear difference between that specific model and the one i possess. maybe that's a new revision and mine's too old/unable to detect new cards ?
That's why i'm asking here, if youve had some experience with this very card or know someone who does.
Thanks in advance, have a great day.

" rel="nofollow - Did you tried and see if the GTX 1060 works?

I had/have the thread with H61 not being compatible with R7 265, but I sold that card, now I'm afraid to get an 950 gtx because I don't know if either ATI gpu's no being compatible or all newer cards, including Nvidia.

With matters like this it is best to contact Tech Support via Email. You could get lucky and have another user of your board confirm/refute compatibility but it isn't very likely. Not having the GPU or board in question I can't help I am afraid.

" rel="nofollow - To compare, use this page as it contains links to past and current ASRock motherboards:

http://asrock.com/mb/index.us.asp?s=All

Open both in two tabs and compare.
