" rel="nofollow - Hi,

I'm just wondering if there is somebody around who could help me out,
I've flashed a generic (and not suitable) Firmware onto the ASMedia USB 3.1 Controller by accident (not used the provided .bat but the .exe instead),
could anybody provide my the default/stock Firmware for it?
In Windows device-manager the ID is: DEV_1242&SUBSYS_79841462

As connecting my OnePlus 3 and disconnecting it gives random freezes..

Many thanks in advance!
Sebastian

I've never seen ASRock provide a firmware update for the ASMedia 3.1 controller.

I doubt ASMedia provides one, since the last time I looked at their website, they did not even provide any drivers for their products.

The only place I know of that might have firmware for their products is Station-Drivers. This is their English language site, they are a French site but might have a German page, I'm not sure:

http://www.station-drivers.com/index.php%3Flang=en" rel="nofollow - http://www.station-drivers.com/index.php%3Flang=en

I suggest starting with the Drivers link, and find ASMedia in the resulting list. Find the ASMedia ASM1142 Controller in the list, and if they have any firmware available, it will be included with its drivers.

Hi! Thanks for your answer, but - guess where I got the Update from :)

I think it is possible to dump the current firmware with one of these tools, so that I could flash it again to my board.

Thanks
Sebastian
