" rel="nofollow - My intention is to use Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac with Intel Core i7-6700K and CORSAIR Vengeance LPX Red, 16GB (CMK16GX4M2B3466C16R) memory. The idea is to have a FSB as high as possible with 16GB of RAM (e.g. 3466Mhz).

Problem is that this memory is not listed in the Memory Support List of the motherboard but pcpasrtpicker service does not register this fact as incompatibility. My question is whether this memory and motherboard are compatible or not and is it possible to run the FSB at 3466MHz?

Thank you!

Slap either MB or that PN into:

I believe the PCPartPicker page for the CMK16GX4M2B3466C16R model number is obsolete. They show it as an 8GB x2 kit, when it is clear in Corsair's part number that is a "16GX4" kit, meaning 16GB, but four, 4GB DIMMs. I did find some hits at several retailers which have it as an 8GB x2 kit, but at least one listed it as discontinued. I'm not sure what the situation is here:

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/NJfmP6/corsair-memory-cmk16gx4m2b3466c16r" rel="nofollow - https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/NJfmP6/corsair-memory-cmk16gx4m2b3466c16r

Searching on CMK16GX4M2B3466C16R does not find any hits on Corsair's website.

I did find a somewhat similar kit:

http://www.corsair.com/en/dominator-platinum-series-16gb-4-x-4gb-ddr4-dram-3466mhz-c18-memory-kit-cmd16gx4m4b3466c18" rel="nofollow - http://www.corsair.com/en/dominator-platinum-series-16gb-4-x-4gb-ddr4-dram-3466mhz-c18-memory-kit-cmd16gx4m4b3466c18

Note that this is a 4 x 4GB kit, four 4GB DIMMs. The Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac board only has two DIMM slots, since it is a Mini-ITX board.

That model of memory is included in the Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac  memory support list. But not what you seem to be looking for, a kit with two 8GB DIMMs. The CMD kit is compatible, but would not give you 16GB, obviously.

There are a few 3400 8GB kits listed in the Memory support list, from G.SKILL and others, but not from Corsair.

FYI, the concept of FSB does not apply to Skylake platforms, or really any Intel platform since Sandy Bridge. Memory speed is determined by the BCLK (Base Clock), normally 100MHz, and a memory multiplier.

Memory speeds up to 4000 are supported on this board, but only with one 4GB DIMM. As the memory speed goes beyond 3400, it becomes more difficult to use 8GB DIMMs.
