" rel="nofollow - I know the J3455-ITX has been confirmed ot have VT-d enabled after a bios update that I believe was posted in the forums, (not released yet) but does the J4205? Does anyone know if the J4205 can use the same BIOS that the J3455 uses to enable vt-d? Thanks in advance!

I'll edit this to state that for the J4255-ITX I have the L1.11 Instant Flash BIOS file that allows Enabling/Disabling VT-d within the BIOS.

BIOS setup > Advanced page > CPU Configuration > VT-d

Please, PM me your email and I'll link you to it.

Dear cr9c1,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.

We would release the latest BIOS version supported IntelĀ® Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (VT-d) function upcoming in the future and now is tested and verified in our lab.

After the BIOS version is been upload on our official website, we would have a notice immediately.

Thanks!

All the best,
ASRock TSD

Hi wardog
Thanks for your file (J4205-ITX_L1.12.zip) from the mail.
I have tested it with my J4205-itx board.
I turned on it in bios and open the vt-d setting in esxi.

Unfortunately, it usually causes blank screen but it runs well if I turn off the vt-d in bios.

Is this the problem only appears in L1.12 for j4205?
Anyone runs good in L1.11 for j3455?

" rel="nofollow - Hello wardog,
Is the new bios contains other improvements that could help hdmi connection?
I lost the video each time I restarted the pc or if my 4k TV was shut down for too long.
My motherboard is ready to be shipped back, but I'm ready to reinstall it and give a last trial if this new bios could help.
Vincent

Televisions are tough as sometimes they don't present their EDID properly, or just don't period.

Can I assume when you connect it to an actual computer monitor it doesn't behave as you say above?

Hello wardog,
Actually I don't have a computer monitor.... But I'll get one and try.
As it works perfectly with my a3ion3t deluxe motherboard from asus, I believe that it could also work with my new card.
By the way I had the issue with 2 different TV (one Sony Bravia and my new Samsung series 6) which work both with the asus.

It is in the NON-Beta 1.20. This is the one you want.

The Beta 1.20D is 1 day older.
