hy to everyone.

I have a Asrock X79 Extreme6 as a motherboard and I'm having since the beginning some problems with random crashesat seem to come from nowhere.

I was wondering if it could be due to the fact that the ram (4 stcks of 4Gb HyperX Beast by Kingstone) was installed all on the 4 port on the right.

I didn't find any info on where to put it and since my case is a little tight, this was the only available option.

Could that be the cause of BSOD?

Most likely it is. Yes.

The Motherboard Manual is chock full of interesting facts concerning your motherboard Wink

Thank you for your answer!

So theoretically if I run with just two sticks on one side the problem should disappear right?

You're welcome.

No, You'll need to run 1 DIMM slot per side. Your case is that tight? What of air flow then?

Here are the memory configurations.

Airflow is not a problem because i have a fan from the top, two from front and a couple of corsair fans for the dissipator. The problem is that the body of the dissipator is a little bulky and so the Ram cannot fit :\

I guess i will have to buy a slightly bigger case.

I reassembled the pc with a new case where there is no space problem. The crash problem was solved!

Thank you very much to everyone and merry Christmas!!!!
