Ouch By means of what PCI controllers of expansion it is possible to make the `ASRock HDD Saver Technology`   on the basis of the `AsRock Fatal1ty X99 Professional Gaming i7`  motherboard?

The Fatal1ty X99 Professional Gaming i7 mother board does not have the HDD Saver feature. HDD Saver cannot be added to that board.

The HDD Saver feature has a special SATA power cable that is provided with the board, and is connected to a special connector on the board. The user can enable or disable power to the cable with an option in the BIOS, or by a Windows program that can enable or disable the power to the cable.

PCI controllers are not used with the HDD Saver feature.

I believe they were asking if an expansion card is available to do the same as HDD Saver.

To that, I haven't seen a plug-in card that can do that.

I have two of the below and they work just fine. Plus they aren't limited to 2 drives as HDD Saver is currently.
