" rel="nofollow - I am currently using AsRock B150M PRO4/Hyper. (I have 2 computers. This motherboard is for my second computer, and for first computer I use AsRock Z170 Extreme 4. This problem was commonly occurred in both first computer (B150M), and second computer (Z170).

All the components were assembled well, and the operating system works well. The problem occurs when I insert bootable USB (It is just not allowed to boot the system while USBs are inserted, it is okay to insert or to do any tasks with storage devices after operating system starts to work.)

The problem is that it freezes on the boot screen (that you would see AsRock logo.) for about 2~3 minutes when I boot the system within USBs inserted. and then it works well(I mean the motherboard takes few minutes to turn over the permission to control devices to operating system). When it's frozen, any keys doesn't work. Just I have to wait.

I often have to boot the system with USBs.

But, this problem is really really extremely annoying.

Would you mind helping me?

" rel="nofollow - What usb devices are you connecting? I take it you mean data devices not keyboard/mouse/peripherals?

Sorry. I checked it again, but it doesn't work only when the inserted USB is bootable USB.

" rel="nofollow - Then it's my experience that it is not bootable. Cursor in the upper left quadrant of the screen?

I would check that the settings used in the creation of the USB stick, whatever program, is correct.

I better ask. This is a bootable USB stick, and not a bootable USB drive, correct.

" rel="nofollow - Also, can I assume this is happening in a USB 2.0 port?
