" rel="nofollow - Asrock motherboard (with only Intel discrete graphics). What the HDMI version, less than 1.4b? Can it carry 3D 1080p video at 120 Hz, 144 Hz?

I'm reasonably sure it's v1.4, 99% anyways. Yet 120Hz and 144Hz it won't do.

Look you CPU up on Intel Arc to check just what Hz it will push.

" rel="nofollow - Really yes. CPU just 1.4...

In any way my HDMI output on board stopped working, although still in warranty.
I hope that the external GPU will work on motherboard (VGA - ok) - want to buy another one and try first.
It's not too risky?

You'll need a capable graphics card and capable monitor interconnected via DisplayPort to get anything beyond the last I knew limit of 120Hz on HDMI.

DisplayPort can do what you want easily.

My projector does not have DisplayPort, only HDMI. And its (projector's) specifications say that it supports 120 Hz and has the 144 Hz Triple Flash feature: "To smoothen the projection even better, the frame rate is tripled from 48 Hz to 144 Hz (48x3) which gives a better sensation of 3D perception".
