" rel="nofollow - have an intel g4600 processor (kaby lake).
the bios on the sticker is p1.40
need p7.1 or better for this processor i do not have access to a skylake processor.
the dealer (newegg.ca) is useless only offer to exchange but no guarantee that i'll get a newer bios.
I see the bios is socketed, is there anyway that a p7.30 bios chip be sent to me by asrock?

emailed them, because it's out of box (i just bought the mb a couple days ago) asrock is sending me a new bios.  The fact that they responded with in 14 hours and not 21 days like a competitor's motherboard which was having a similar issue has a number of friends sold on ASRock for their next MB purchase

As Xaltar said, thanks for posting back.

It's always good to hear customer experiences. And by the sounds of things, your friends as future customers.

Again, that is greatly appreciated.
