I have a custom MiniPC barebone with a QC5000M board. CPU ist AMD Athlon A4-5000 Quad-Core. No FAN. I bought this june 2016. Unfortunately I do not find the power-supply. I use a 12V 5A = 60W supply, which seems to work. The dealer told me that they have delivered it with a 75W power supply. The usage of this Hardware will be only with Screen (HDMI) Keyboard Mouse LAN
I tried to find out the power consumption from the user manual. There is nothing mentioned at all.
Where can I find information about the power consumption.

The A4 5000 is a very low power embedded CPU. It should be more than fine with a 60w power brick. You can see the peak power draw in this review from Techspot: https://www.techspot.com/review/671-amd-a4-5000-kabini/page2.html" rel="nofollow - https://www.techspot.com/review/671-amd-a4-5000-kabini/page2.html
Under full load on both the CPU and GPU (Prime 95 and Furmark) the system pulled just 23w. I am guessing your custom MiniPC is using a Pico/equivalent power adapter to allow for external power bricks, either way, your 60w brick is overkill in the configuration you are using. A 75w brick would only really be needed if you were to install a mid range or higher PCIe GPU that needs more power. That would be more or less pointless as the CPU would bottleneck anything more than a low end GPU.
I hope this answers your question.

Thank You for Your reply. The power supply 60 Watts works.
The windows 10 installed is very slow. Currently only 2 GB non-ECC memory is installed (DDR3-1600 CL11 SDRAM). The manual for the ASROCK QC 5000M Rev 1.01 says: supports DDR-3 1600/1333/1066 non-ECC un-buffered memory up to 32 GB. I have a lot of DDR-3 ECC Server Memory e.g. MT36JSF51272PZ-1G4. Unfortunately with this memory installed the system does not even boot. Is it due to the fact that ECC memory cannot be used? Rgds Dieter
