I have an ASRock Z270 KILLER SLI/AC that I am trying to upgrade with a new wireless and bluetooth card, the Archer TXE75E. In order to do this I need to disable the current wificards (Wireless-AC 3160 and WiFi 6E AX210) and uninstall their drivers to install the new ones.
per intel, the old drivers need to be removed: https://community.intel.com/t5/Wireless/Trying-to-install-wireless-drivers-says-quot-The-software/m-p/1607855/emcs_t/S2h8ZW1haWx8dG9waWNfc3Vic2NyaXB0aW9ufExYS1RaMUQ3TTRGN01MfDE2MDc4NTV8U1VCU0NSSVBUSU9OU3xoSw" rel="nofollow - https://community.intel.com/t5/Wireless/Trying-to-install-wireless-drivers-says-quot-The-software/m-p/1607855/emcs_t/S2h8ZW1haWx8dG9waWNfc3Vic2NyaXB0aW9ufExYS1RaMUQ3TTRGN01MfDE2MDc4NTV8U1VCU0NSSVBUSU9OU3xoSw
However every time I try to uninstall the device and remove the drivers, they magically regenerate.
I even went through the BIOS and disabled 'wan radio', unplugged ethernet, turned off the wireless through device manager, and still it regenerates itself on reboot, the drivers come back and I am unable to install the new drivers for my new wireless card.
Is there a way to remove these drivers or permanently disable the onboard?
