" rel="nofollow - Hello,
Couple weeks ago i moved my kids computers hardware from old case to new case. First everything worked fine, but after reboot usb ports have been working only randomly. The drivers do work in UEFI, but stop working as windows loads. Prior to this ive had no problems with mobo for the roughly 3y ive used it.
Win 10, Z87e-ITX, 8gb ram, gtx 780, 2x ssd.
Ive trid reinstalling newest UEFI, reinstalling windows 2-times (without media though, as if i try install it from usb it stops working), updated every single driver i can imagine, tried using modded intel USB drivers, remove and replace mobo battery.. yet havent manged to fix this problem.
Sometimes, when i run the windows trouble shoot or try updating the usb driver the computer find driver "Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible host controller - 1.0 (microsoft)" and the usb devices work normall until reboot. then that driver give error "This device cannot start. (code 10) {operation failed} The request operation was unsuccesful.
with the modded Intel(R) USB 3.0 extensible host controller -driver i get instead error message:
""This device cannot start. (Code 10) / Device Timeout / The specified I/O operation on %hs was not completed before the time-out period expired"."
i got the mod drivers from here: http://www.win-raid.com/t834f25-USB-Drivers-original-and-modded.html
ive so far written to Asrock support couple weeks ago but havent received reply yet. Ive also tried to solve this in windows answers - but despite getting help, the issue still persists. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/win10-all-usb-ports-stop-working-usb-xchi/eaf87428-8f75-4c7e-8bcd-01ccd84b2fbd
would anyone here in Asrock forum recognize this problem and have way to solve it?
