Hi,

We're testing a new AMD 8640 on an IAMB-8000 motherboard for radiation effects at work. Because the radiation could cause a CPU failure, I've been tasked with trying to externally monitor voltage, temperature, and power, independent of the CPU, without installing any new hardware (i.e. temperature sensors or ammeters).

I'm not sure the best way to do this. My first thought is to try and master the SMBUS through the SMBUS_TEST1 header on the board. Has anyone tried anything like this?

Thanks.
