" rel="nofollow - So it seems the z77 extreme4 has Broadcom Netlink Gigabit Ethernet. To me that implies it should be 10/100/1000 speeds. However, every where I look on this computer it shows speed 100mb Is this right, or do I need to change a setting somewhere? Thanks for any help.

What, by Make and Model, are all your networking switches, hubs, router, etc.

To answer your question, yes, it is a Gigabit NIC.

" rel="nofollow - I better ask as both ARRIS devices you have are MoCA capable.
Is your network hard-wired using Ethernet cabling? Or are you employing Moca throughout.

I don't understand Moca. Yes, my PC is direct wired to the modem. My ISP says I should be getting 300 Mb/s but speedtest by Ookla shows a fairly consistent 90-95 Mb/s In the device manager it shows 10 mbs half duplex 10 mbs full duplex 100 mbs half duplex 100 mbs full duplex autonegotiate set on auto negotiate. I might add, my laptop has a realtek gigabit adapter, and says the same.

That my friend is the Broadcom BCM57781 Netlink Gigabit NIC/PHY !
Go to: https://www.broadcom.com/support/download-search/?pg=Ethernet+Connectivity,+Switching,+and+PHYs&pf=Ethernet+Controllers
And scroll down to the beginning of where its begins listing "NetLink' , d/l the correct file for your OS, and x86 or x64, then in Device Manager Delete the Broadcom device AND related software, then install the d/l you just obtained from the link above.
Post back the results please.

I'm not sure what you mean by related software. The driver above(wrong one) was not installed. The 1 that was installed was Microsoft. Installed now is the Broadcom driver from 2013

If in the process of deleting it in DM it also asks if you want to delete/remove it's associated software and or driver(s), say Yes when prompted.

Check/swap/replace that ethernet cable is what I'd be doing here, next.

It must be a windows thing. My daughters Dell laptop, my HP laptop and my hpmemade desktop all have gigabit adapters, Realtek or Broadcom and all show the same about 10, 100 half and full duplex and autonegotiate.

This only reinforces my belief that it an ethernet cable that connects one of your three devices. Either between the two ARRIS devices or there to the computer.
Move your computer as cose to the next/nearest ARRIS, and using one of the short cables ARRIS includes see if this can be duplicate? If not, then skip over that particular ARRIS and using the same ARRIS included cable test there. Somewhere, IMO, you have a bad cacle that is limiting connection speed. Are all cables being used decent CAT5 or better
DO NOT change it away from Auto-Negotiate.
Only in mixed speed large environments would the need to change that be even considered.
Power
every thing network related down, then beginning at the device that
connects with the coax coming from outside in, power one at a time up
letting it come up to full operation status, then move to the next
device after the first and do things the same way. Then lastly your
computer.

I've tried everything you suggested, reset all, different cables, different ports and get same results. Tried 2 desktops and 2 laptops, all with the same results. Time to go after my ISP. Once again, thank you for your time.

So the tech guy from the cable company came out today. Seems it was a CHEAP cat5 cable the installer used. I had switched it out with another cheap one from another installer. A good cat 5 e cable changed things from about 90 mbs to 360 mbs. Happy guy here.
