Does any of Asrock's motherboards support digital RGB LEDs such as WS2812, WS2813, SK6812 etc..
I am thinking of mounting a digital RGB strip behind the TV
so it will work as an"Ambilight" that TVs from Philips use.
If this is not yet supported maybe it can be realized using an USB port
and then use a simple USB-Serial converter between USB port and digital RGB-strip.
The "Ambilight" TV-function would require the user to specify number of X and Y LEDs
to suit the physical size of the TV or display.
Surround sound VU-meters could be created using digitial RGB LEDs together
with the onboard surround sound chipset also.
Could you add this in BIOS code please.
We only need settings in BIOS like number of LEDs, Ambilight or VU-meter and
maybe adjust general light intensity to start with.
Thanks and regards
Peter
