" rel="nofollow - Hi mates,

at first i would like to appologize for my maybe bad english - it is not my native language.

Now to my issue - I have brand new hw - Asrock Fatal1ty AB350, AMD Ryzen 1600x, 16 GB RAM (2x 8 GB) Kingston HyperX Predator Series, and Adata SSD SP920 256 GB.

I am running on default bios version of P 1.40 and windows 10 Home 64 bit installed.

Everything works fine, but i realized about new bios available (2.50), which should improve Ryzen's performance, so i updated it thru Bios flash utility. Everything went ok, at the end Enter pressed, pc restarted and then windows started to load, and right when i saw desktop screen, pc restarted, then stayed for about 30-40 seconds on bios welcome screen and then i get message, that there is no bootable device. In bios, in storrage section, there was no hdd detected. So i turned off pc completelly, wait about few seconds, then turned on again - and again get same progress - in windows restart, long waiting and then no hdd visible in bios. Luckily, it happened yesterday, when there was option download previous bioses (no more possible) - so i tried at first 2.20, but again same issue. Then i returned to P 1.40 and everything is fine now.

Btw. Of course i tried to change ahci to raid and back to ahaci, default bios setting etc etc...

Is this common issue, or am i alone in this? Any possible solution? Now, of course, i will update bios only when i will be sure, that there will be no issue like this.

Thanks for possible help.
