i do wish for more details. We are risking our MOBO's every time we do a bios update.

You will have to ask Tech Support for more details, we moderators get the same info you do Wink

Generally, most manufacturers keep changes under wraps though. There will usually be a very brief description of one of the features the update adds/improves and that's it. It's pretty annoying for those of us that like to know everything LOL

First, AMD must release AGESA 1.0.0.6 to the mother board manufactures. Then it must be applied and tested on all 14 of ASRock's Ryzen boards. That takes time.

I have not seen anywhere that AGESA 1.0.0.6 has been released yet. AMD said sometime in May.

Compatibility will keep improving for some time yet. The early adoption tax is still in play but nowhere near what it was at launch. Once we see budget RAM kits hitting 2666 I will consider the bulk of the teething issues fixed Wink

" rel="nofollow - Now at 2933MHz? If you were at 2133mhz or 2400mhz and on Hynix chip DDR4 then that is definitely a great sign. That is once it's released for the Fatality X370 Pro Gaming. The current UEFI/Bios is still at 2.20.

Perhaps sometime later this week AsRock will update the X370 Taichi and Fatality X370 Pro Gaming.

Installed the new bios version but still won't post @ 2993mhz with 32GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (CMK32GX4M2B3000C15). Even with loosened timings and 1.1v SOC

heres a cut and paste from a taichi owner
i would imagine/hope you can find this setting in your new bios

Taichi 2.3 BIOS has an extra section that provides additional memory controls - which may be in preparation for the new AGESA when it drops sometime this month. In particular it includes ProcODT. This is on-die termination voltage for the RAM. AMD notes 50-60 Ohms is OK and you must NOT go beyond 80. Using 60 Ohms and was able to OC my Micron based HyperX Fury 32GB DR RAM from stock 2400/15/15/15/38 to 2666/14/13/13/32. AIDA went from 36xxx to 41xxx MB/s read and ~93-96ns to 79-85ns latency. I couldn't reach this without ProcODT adjustment. Also used SOC 1.0V and DRAM 3.5V, R7/3800GHz/1.38v.

Yes, someone with memory other than Samsung or Hynix! I got this on sale at OCS for £170. Given the cost of 32GB DRAM these days, and with this OC I think that was a good deal, even if I am somewhat jealous of folk with working 3200+
