Ive seen this option with other manufacturers and would like to inquire if this setting could be added to Asrock arsenal aswell. Many of us don't have PS/2 keyboard/mouse and it would be very nice to be able to boot from USB device aswell.

So i request Asrock bios engineers to add this little option in the bios for us :)

Thank you.

Atan87, I have a Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming MB and boot from a USB stick to install W10.  I built a 64 bit Windows Pre-install Environment (WinPE) and use it to start Setup from a hard drive.  Windows ADK has all you need to build the USB stick.  Simply plug it in, restart system and press F11 to show the BIOS boot device menu and select the stick.  Enjoy, John.

This is not what i meant at all.
I mean powering the system on using USB device, such as mouse or keyboard.
Asrock Taichi here.

So you're saying that there are computers that will boot up (from power off) with a click of the mouse or usinG a keyboard without pressing the power button?

On my board it is in the Advance/ACPI Configuration. You can set it to PS/2 or usb keyboard or mouse.

clubfoot, you misread where they're asking from Power Off, not Hibernate or Sleep.

I didn't misread. These are UEFI settings and have nothing to do with Windows power plans, sleep modes or hibernate. These are settings to do with powed on. Like restart after power loss or stay off. Use keyboard or mouse PS/2 or USB to "start computer",...disable or enable. It's nothing new to computers. They act like the power switch.

This is exactly what i'm talking about.
x370 Taichi has ps/2 power on option, but no usb power on option.
If i enable ps/2 power on, my pc powers on from single key press, even from total power down state.
But this works only with ps/2 devices, which i don't have anymore. I've seen option from a screenshot on another manufacturer's motherboard, to power on by usb, so i know it is possible on this chipset.

This is the feature i would like to be added on x370 Taichi and all the other motherboards Asrock makes.
