Quick question about core voltage offset in FIVR.

Hi all,

So i used a core voltage offset within Asrock Z790 Taichi BIOS and used a -100v in FIVR in XTU it is shown as -0.100v.

But with stress test with XTU (AVX2) it crashes after 30 sec.
So i upped the voltage a bit within XTU to -0.090v and now it passed.

How do i write it down inside the FIVR section the old undervolt was written as -100 so..

Do i need to write the -0.090v now as -90 in FIVR?

I just don't want to mess things up.

Found the answer il share it here to anyone having the same issue.

Here is what you do after playing around with XTU section "core voltage offset" and you applied an undervolt of example: -0.100v and its stable.

- go to BIOS and then to FIVR.
- under "core voltage offset" you write: -100 thats it.

Or you have an UV under XTU of example: -0.090v

- go to BIOS and then to FIVR.
- under "core voltage offset" you write: -90

Save and exit and go back to XTU you will see it shows the "core voltage offset" UNDER XTU as -0.100v if you used FIVR -90 under XTU you see -0.090v

Dont forget the "minus" - symbol before the numbers.

Asrock FIVR i dont think it will allow more then -100 so -100 is the MAX i think i could be wrong. generally speaking an stable UV is around -0.050 to -0.100 if you can go higher with the UV under XTU it means you basically won the sillicon lottery. Hope this helps.
