" rel="nofollow - Hello ASRock,
I just acquired X99E ITX/ac motherboard and wish to buy high density memory modules for it. I think to get as much RAM as it can work with so that I can gain maximum computational power and fast RAM storage.

I plan to get one or two 32GB DDR4 Samsung Server Memory Modules 2133Mhz M386A4G40DM0-CPB LRDIMM.

Also I plan later to replace one or two of the modules with Samsung 64GB modules M386A8K40BM1 if necessity demands.

The processor that I installed is Xeon 2630 v3, but I may upgrade if needed.

My questions are:
1/. Will X99E ITX/ac motherboard work with LRDIMM modules (and particularly with the mentioned ones).
2/. Will this MB work with 32GB or 64GB memory modules (when used with Xeon CPU).
3/. Will a mix of 32GB and 64GB memory modules work well?
4/. If you have sugestion for another memory configuration for total RAM of over 32GB, in case Samsung LRDIMMs won't work let me know too. The prefference is for ECC memory and if possible RDIMM or LRDIMM.

I read in another topic here for other MB from X99-chipset series, that your MB is not limited for the max RAM in the BIOS, but it is CPU-limited.
Here the installed Xeon 2630 v3 supports up to 768 GB RAM.
So I guess I can install high density modules of 32GB or higher.

Thank you for any insights!
