" rel="nofollow - I have bought a H170A-X1/3.1 but have not bought the memory yet. Looking at the memory support list, it says that it supports only a few types of DDR4-2400 Sticks and DDR4-2133. If I were to use a set of 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4-2400 RAM, would it work? (it is not on the support list)
Thank you very much!

Without the full Corsair model number of that memory it is impossible to know 100% if it will work or not.
Lower speed DDR4 like the type you mentioned most likely will work in an Intel Skylake CPU/chipset board, but again it is impossible to check compatibility without the model number.

" rel="nofollow - The Corsair 2x8gb DDR4-2400's model number is "CMK16GX4M2A2400C1" (the single 8gb stick model number is "CMK8GX4M1A2400C14"). Neither of these are on the memory support list for the H170A-X1/3.1 (http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H170A-X13.1/?cat=Memory)
