I have setup this system about a month ago. It has been extremely reliable with the 12400F processor. For whatever reason, when I went to start the ASRock motherboard utility today, it gave me a problem.

'Error 0xFFFE
This utility is not for this platform!'

I tried to uninstall with reboot after, reinstalled, same thing happens again.

Does anyone have this utility and suddenly have it not working recently, within this week?

Windows 11 Pro Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3958)
NVme M.2 Samsung 980 Pro SSD.
Crucial Pro RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz Desktop Memory CP2K16G60C48U5
Gigabyte GTX 1080 GPU

This is also known as "A-Tuning" , for reference.

Check the memory integrity thread bellow this thread for everyone who updated few days again and got an error. It?™s a universal error with the update and LED utility drivers.
Hope this helps!

Yes, it just started happening to me out of the blue this week after many months without issue. The same error you reported occurs to me now with the A-Tuning and Restart to UEFI apps. I'm using the B550M-HDV mobo with a 5800X3D cpu.

I narrowed down the cause of the issue for me to be AMD Ryzen Master. For you, that reason does not apply. However, I did find that finding a newer version of A-Tuning from digging around the ASRock website, version 4.1.6, works. The Restart to UEFI version I have is 1.0.12, which is actually the newest available, still does not work.

I got 2024-07 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5040527) installed on my B760M PRO RS/D4 Wifi motherboard and got the below error messages from the system:

1. Driver cannot be loaded, re-install the program may fix the issue, report the problem with your system configuration as detail as possible."

2. This utility is not for this platform!"

All lightings are gone. Re-install ASRRGBLED and the problem still exists!

Anyone can help! Many thanks.

Richard.

Just delete the LED control panel- Its a temporary fix until they create a patch
I am not tech expert- Its just what worked for me-and few others regarding this issue-I am fairly certain ASROCK is aware of this and working on a fix as we speak.
