Is it possible to get more than 4pcie devices detected with this motherboard, when i connect pcie device to slot 5/6 with first 4 slots occupied windows will not boot.

" rel="nofollow - I'd have to look again at specs, but are you running out of PCIe Lanes by chance?

Mining there? What 5 PCIe devices?

"Windows will not boot" .... but the computer isn't shutting down when not booting, right?

Hi yes i suspect I'm running out of pcie lanes, I have 6 gtx 1070 all on 1x usb riser. But i notice in the bios under AMD PBS that i can only set the pcie to 1x16 or 2x8. And on latest bios (v2.50) the AMD PBS menu is missing. Windows doesnt load, pc reboots eventually ends up in windows recovery screen.

Hi,

Did you ever solved this? I am having same with 5x 1080 TI. First 4 will be discovered by windows and every time I add 5th it would end up with exclamation mark in the device manager. I also get a lot of BSODs with 0x00000124 that would indicate device problems as far as I read in other posts.
Thanks

in pbs try to reduce pcie gen to 2 or 1
disable unused gpp
eventually u can disable onboard audio and cpu sata/nvme lanes
