" rel="nofollow - Hi All:

BIOS - 1.5
CPU - G4560
RAM - 8GB (1 stick)
120GB SDD

The system is brand new and is being set up for the first time. The system powers up, the CPU fan runs, but nothing else is happening. No beeps or video. I removed and reset the RAM and CPU and unhooked all peripherals to isolate the problem, but no luck. Per the ASRock website below, the G4560 should be supported by the BIOS version.

I would sincerely appreciate your suggestions to resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance!

How do you know you have UEFI version 1.50?

What is the full model name/number of your memory?

Did you try both DIMM slots?

There is no POST beep speaker on the board, or a way of connecting a standard POST beep speaker to this board, sorry to say.

There are several models of DeskMini PCs, do you have one that included the PSU?

Is your monitor setup to auto select the active input? Did you try manually selecting the input on your monitor?

Very little that can go wrong with this PC. Did you check the CPU socket for bent pins?

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my query, Parsec. Much appreciated.

I solved the problem but I thought I would post a reply anyway hoping it may help someone. I was using HDMI and switching to VGA resolved the problem. I must have missed the instruction to use VGA somehow.

Cheers!

Thanks, but you are not required to use the VGA output. There is no instruction to only use the VGA output.

I use the HDMI output on my DeskMini 110W, and it works fine. I've never used the VGA output.
