" rel="nofollow - I see all my posts back to about 16 June are missing.  Will these be recovered?  Thanks and enjoy, John.

Yeah, I think it's not just your posts that have been lost.

At this time, I don't know either way if our posts will be restored or not.

Thanks much, parsec.  I realize that the forum appears to be missing all posts from about 16 June to 20 June.  I really hope they can be restored.  Thanks and enjoy, John.

Sadly I doubt it. I believe the damaged drive in the forum server's RAID array caused some corruption to the forum database. Restoring the posts would restore the corruption and cause the forums to misbehave again. Short of skimming all the posts in the corrupted database and manually restoring each thread and post I don't see it happening. I lost a months worth of posts on my own forums once due to a DDOS attack and was never able to recover them....

Thanks much, Xaltar.  I was hopeful but will not count on it.  Enjoy, John.
