do you know if it will work, can i turn off the ECC in the BIOS?

Regarding your question, Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming-ITX/ac supports DDR4 Non-ECC, un-buffered memory and ECC UDIMM (operate in Non-ECC mode).

The memory module you have buy is ECC RDIMM, Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming-ITX/ac doesn't support RDIMM, please change another supported memory module.

We suggest our customer choose the suitable memory module from our memory support list, all the memory modules on the memory support list have been tested and can work fine on Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming-ITX/ac.
