Hello, I have an ASRock Z690 Extreme motherboard and I'm probably gonna get an i9 13900K. I read about the oxidation problem, my BIOS is up to date (19.01).

The reason for "probably" getting the i9 is its price, I found a very good deal for a new processor.

The CPU cooler is Noctua NH-U12A.

I'm not so much into overclocking, the reasons for getting this MB are its other features, like the USB 3.2 support and the chipset itself.

My question is: what BIOS settings do I have to use in order to avoid overvolting and burning this CPU and can possible have this oxidation problem? Do I need to go under the recommended PL levels (125/253W) ? Can this processor run normally on the recommended settings (by ASRock or INtel), or will I have to underclock it?

Thanks.

Dzzzst. Over and out.
