" rel="nofollow - With USB keyboard, I can?t get into BIOS via press F2 or DEL.
Even though the light on the keyboard comes on, key presses aren't registering and I can't get beyond this screen.
And I just bought the ps/2 keyboard today to try and solve it.
I just tried taking the CMOS battery out for 20 mins and then replacing it, that did not solve the problem. Please advise.

Which USB port did you use with your USB keyboard? A USB 2.0 or USB 3.0?

Did you try a USB 2.0 port with your keyboard? What model USB keyboard are you using?

What OS or version of Windows are you using? Or did you not install an OS yet?

Dear iampooh23,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.

Regarding your USB port problem, we would like to provide some suggestions:

1. Please refer below link to upgrade latest BIOS P3.00 for verifying.
http://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/AB350%20Pro4/index.asp#BIOS" rel="nofollow - http://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/AB350%20Pro4/index.asp#BIOS
2. Please check if USB device is connected properly.
3. Please connect the USB device to other USB ports to verify.
4. If possible, please connect other USB devices to verify.
5. If possible, please install another USB front panel to verify.
6. If possible, please use this USB to install on another motherboard to make sure this USB could work successfully.

Thanks!

All the best,
ASRock TSD

ASRock AB350M Pro4 (not R2.0)
Logitech G810 Orion AND brand new Logitech G910 Spectrum (keyboards)
RYZEN 5 1600X

After updating BIOS from 3.0 to 5.1 in an attempt to get the USB 3.0 working on a Sabrent USB3 external case with a Samsung 450GB 970 EVO SSD, it was discovered that the brand new USB 3 dongle cable was defective and only running at USB 2.0 speeds. (Sabrent tested good with new cable on different system)

Still at BIOS 5.10

Updated memory and tested Geil Orion 32GB (2x16) ran at 2166 and now at 3000 without problems.

At seemingly random intervals, the 4 year old Logitech G810 began to glitch and stop working.

There were no problems prior to updating to BIOS 5.10

The case was just cleaned, new fans (Noctua) and all parts/cables reseated except CPU.

Keyboard has been plugged into the "keyboard" USB 2.0 port above the PS2 connector, it is now plugged into one down by the RJ-45 port.

Still locking up.

Windows is current version and completely up to date.

I have 3 BIOS updates remaining: 5.5 / 5.8 / 5.9
Is there any chance that one of those is going to help with this USB Issue?
