The X370 Taichi does not share any of the SATA ports with any of the M.2 slots.

If any of the SATA ports were shared with the M.2 slots, that would be stated in the specifications.

just to add
i use a samsung evo 960 as the main/boot nvme drive
and an extra samsung sata ssd as a stirage drive all works fine and no issues it seems with these drives and the taichi

Dear s8441004,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.


On this model, 10 SATA ports and 2 M.2 socket could be used at the same time due to the controllers are not the same.

But please be noted that if M2_2 is occupied, PCIE5 slot will be disabled.

So, if using M2_1 and 10 SATA ports, it will not affect any PCIE slot.
