Hi,

I just finished building my first pc but when I turn it on, there is no beep or post, no signal to my monitor nor my keyboard and my mouse. Right after the pc turned on, the board's chipset shows a white light and quickly switched to a red light that is fading in and out continuously. I can't find any information in the manual.

The specs:
ASRock X299 Killer SLI/ac
Intel Core i7-7800X Skylake-X 6-Core 3.5 GHz
CORSAIR Hydro Series H60
G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 3200
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Edition
Thermaltake 650W ATX12V v2.4
Crucial MX300 2.5" 275GB
Seagate FireCuda Gaming SSHD 1TB 7200 RPM

I'm thinking that this mobo is faulty but am looking for solutions. If nothing works, I'll need to rma.
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Dear Pengzj,

Thank you for choosing ASRock and contacting us.

Regarding your case, we provide some suggestion to try.

1.          Clear CMOS to load BIOS default.

Please check user manual p22 to clear CMOS.

2.          Please check power supply is plug properly and power supply switch is on.

3.          Please check the monitor is connecting properly and if it is possible please change a connecting cable and monitor to try.

4.          Only install CPU, one stick memory and VGA card to check if the system can boot into BIOS properly.

5.          Please try to install one stick memory at A1, B1, C1 and D1 slot to check if the system can boot into BIOS properly.

6.          Reinstall CPU and check if CPU socket pin is fine.

7.          If it is possible, please change another CPU or DRAM to check if the system can boot into BIOS properly.

Thank you!

Yours truly,

ASRock TSD

Another thread with similar issue. Description is bit vague and it's unclear if the user got his problem solved.
