All the specs say the Audio Codec is ALC283 which is basic stereo.  There is an ALC283 Chip on the motherboard? Is that only for the headphones out?

Does that limit the audio coming out of the Display Port and HDMI to stereo?

Can the HDMI deliver 5 channel sound or does the ALC283 chip on the motherboard limit the output to only stereo even through the HDMI and DP ports?
