Hey everyone,

I am building a pc for a friend (about 10th build overall) and really having some trouble. Any help will be appreciated.

Regarding this build, I attempted to assemble an MSI B350M gaming pro, Ryzen 5 (1500X), and Corsair Vengeance Ram (8GB x 2, 2400MHz, low profile) into a new build for my friends. I tell you this as that mobo had a on board debug light system proving the ram and GPU were not the issue, but the CPU. According to MSI support, that mobo wasn't compatible with Ryzen 5 without an update, and due to limitations of me being around to help fix this, it was returned.

Consequently, I purchased an ASRock AB350M and currently have it connected with Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 2400MHz ram as well as a brand new EVGA GeForce 210 graphics card. I didn't want to get into the situation with the first build, where I connected everything without first testing it at its most basic.

The motherboard powers on (power LED light as well as CPU fan spin [CPU fan seems to be running fast/louder than expected]), does NOT post (no video sent to the monitor), and reboots after about 26 seconds. This continues until I manually power down.

RAM testing - I have tried using 1 stick each in the different slots; no help with switching RAM
Graphics card - I don't think this is the issue since it is power cycling
CPU - I did use ArctiClean and put new thermal paste on the CPU and CPU fan. I don't know of a way to test this independently.
Bios- Sticker on motherboard is P1.20, and from what I can read, Ryzen 5 should be supported at all bios levels.

I'm currently out of state working on their rig but won't be here for lunch. Any help would be so greatly appreciated, as some of the parts are nearing the end of a return/exchange period. I did email support but there was no time frame to which I could expect a response.

Thanks again!
